2015.

I’ve been doing photography for years now and one thing I’ve always loved shooting is live bands. This year I’ve pushed myself to do it more regularly and have felt like I’ve really progressed in creating more exciting imagery.
Thanks to Counteract Magazine and more recently Gig Junkies, I’ve scored myself some pretty exciting gigs including Chic, Laura Marling, James Bay and just last week, Twin Atlantic. This means, not only do I get to photograph bands I love but that I get to discover new music as well as flex my photographic eye.
You can find some of these photos accompanying reviews on the linked websites or in the live music sections on this site. I’ve uploaded some of my newest and favourite snaps here.

Sally and Dave.

So here is my first website blog. I’m starting off with a wedding from 2014, one of my favourite weddings I’ve photographed.
In May I travelled up to Yorkshire to photograph the special day of Sally and Dave. Having only four weeks in which to sort out a new venue after their first choice became unavailable, they then got married on a wet and windy May day in a Holiday Inn. However these guys weren’t going to let any of that dampen their spirits, proving that the ‘when’ and ‘where’ is nothing compared to the ‘what’, ‘who’ and ‘why’. Their musically themed day was full of laughter and love with the help of their family and friends including the groom’s siblings providing the soundtrack to the day and a bride determinded to get pictures outside even if it ment she got soaked!
